Marta obtained her medical degree at the University Complutense of Madrid. She completed the residence of Vascular Surgery at Gregorio Marañón Hospital in Madrid, and completed the PhD on Periferical Arterial disease “cum laude” at the CEU San Pablo University in Madrid.
Currently she is the Chief of Vascular& Endovascular Surgery Department in the University Hospitals Viamed Santa Elena and Fuensanta in Madrid.
Member of the EVF, ESVS and ISWVS.
Since 2011, she has been more involved in the development of venous pathology treatment, focusing on endovascular strategies. She has been present at the most important international congresses and has given numerous presentations and publications in this field. Currently, she is an active member of various international venous pathology registries.
She is proctor of several endovenous products and procedures. Associate Professor of the University and member of different educational programs and scientific advisory boards.
