I am a Stroke Association Senior Clinical Lecturer (Assistant Research Professor) at the University of Cambridge and an Honorary Consultant in Stroke Medicine at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. My group’s research uses advanced imaging – positron-emission tomography and magnetic resonance imaging – to evaluate the vulnerable carotid atherosclerotic plaque and its impact on both stroke and overall brain health. In my clinical role, I am part of the regional Vascular MDT and have a specialist interest in large vessel atherosclerosis and how ageing affects vascular and cerebrovascular health.
