Miltiadis Krokidis is a Vascular and Interventional Radiologist at Areteion University Hospital and Associate Professor of the Medical School of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. He is also working clinically in Switzerland and the UK.

He has previously served as Visiting Professor at the Medical School of the University of Bern and received an Honorary Professor Chair at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, UK. He has also worked as Vascular and Interventional Radiology Consultant at Cambridge University Hospitals and served as Senior Clinical Tutor at the Clinical School, Cambridge University, UK.

He holds board certification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology for Europe (EBIR) and board certification as endovascular specialist (EBIR-ES). He is Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR), Fellow of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (FCIRSE), Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology (FSIR) and Fellow of the European Society of Abdominal and Gastrointestinal Radiology (FESGAR). He has served in various leadership positions in major international Radiological societies (CIRSE, ESGAR, ESR, ESOI) and as President of the Hellenic Medical Society UK for the period 2018-20. He is currently the Vice Chair of the IASIOS accreditation organization and member of the CIRSE Executive Committee as CIRSE Annual Meeting SPC Deputy Chairperson.

He is Assistant Editor of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology journal and a member of the Editorial Board of several other journals in the field of Interventional Radiology. He was editor of one book and has written several book chapters in other radiology textbooks. So far, he has authored and co-authored >130 papers in international peer-reviewed journals including international guidelines and has delivered >150 invited lectures in national and international meetings.
