Mr Baris Ata Ozdemir is an Imperial College graduate and London-trained Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon based within the Bristol, Bath and Weston Vascular Network. Following his specialist training and an advanced fellowship in Montpellier, France, he developed a sub-specialist interest in treating complex deep and superficial venous and aortic diseases.

Currently serving as the Governance Lead for the regional network, he also previously chaired the Trust’s Thrombosis and Transfusion Committees. Mr Ozdemir holds a PhD in healthcare outcomes from St George’s, University of London, and is widely published. Globally active in his field, he is a founding member and Secretary of the European Venous Registry and a Council Member of the Royal Society of Medicine Venous Forum.
