Chandra completed his Vascular Surgical Training in Belfast, following which he was appointed as a Consultant Vascular Surgeon in Arrowe Park Hospital, Wirral. Following reconfiguration of the vascular services, Chandra is in the Countess of Chester hospital, where he was the Clinical Director of the South Mersey Arterial Centre. His special interests are in lower limb revascularisation and vascular access.
