Professor Davies MA, DM, DSc, FRCS, FACPh, FFST(Ed), FHEA, FLSW, FMedSci is Professor of Vascular Surgery at Imperial College London/NIHR Senior Investigator. He is a Fellow of the Learned Society of Wales and a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Science. He runs a full NHS practise, is clinical director of Imperial Private Healthcare (NHS -PPU) as well as running an academic department. He has published extensively, with over 650 peer reviewed manuscripts (H index 90). He has supervised over 60 higher degrees (PhDs) & raised, more than £30,000,000 for research in the last 5 years. He has been awarded many international accolades. He is the Editor in Chief of Phlebology and has held many societal roles including, Presidency of the European Venous Forum, European College of Phlebology. He has held/hold roles at NICE, NHS England & with the NIHR.
