Professor Arun Pherwani is Consultant Vascular Surgeon at the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust and Honorary Professor at Keele University School of Medicine. He is the Clinical Lead for the National Vascular Registry (NVR). He is Joint Clinical lead for the National Consultant Information Programme (NCIP) for Vascular Surgery NHS England, and Chair of the Specialised Services Devices Programme (SSDP) for Vascular NHS England.

He is Member of the National Clinical Reference Group (CRG) for Vascular Surgery, Member of the National Steering Board for the Medical Devices Outcome Registries and Patient Safety Programme (ORP) NHS England, and Member of NHS England’s Aortic Dissection Steering group.
